Ahmad Shahzad unpicked in PSL Draft: left PSL with Disappointment

Ahmad Shahzad, the dynamic Pakistani cricketer, has earned his name at the peak of the sport 
with his exceptional talent and charismatic personality. Born on November 23, 1991, in Lahore,
 Shahzad debuted for the Pakistan national team in 2009,
 and since then, he has been a prominent figure in international cricket.

With an impressive strike rate and an array of strokes in his arsenal, Shahzad has
 been a go-to opener for various PSL franchises. His ability to anchor the innings
 while unleashing powerful shots makes him a formidable force in the league.
 Notably, he holds the record for the highest individual score in a PSL innings, 
a scintillating 117 runs off 62 balls, displaying his match-winning capabilities.
Recently Ahmad Shshzad hit 16 sixes in the National T20 Cup in just 9 innings, no batter hit
more sixes than him in fewer innings

Ahmad Shahzad's consistency, with notable performances, is reflected in his PSL stats.
 As one of the leading run-scorers in the tournament, his contributions have been crucial in
 propelling his teams towards the playoffs. His partnership-building skills and ability to convert

Ahmad Shahzad has been recently dropped from the Pakistan Cricket team due to some controversies 
and poor performance. He put all his attention on his fitness and was determined to make a comeback 
to the Pakistan team. He turned down various international league opportunities to play National 
tournament and he scored consistently in the whole tournament and made four consecutive fifties 

With high hopes of being selected in the HBL PSL season 9, he was hopeful to come back 
to the Pakistan cricket team. But unfortunately, he was not picked up by any franchise of HBL PSL
Ahmad Shahzad announced to leave HBL PSL soon after the draft was completed. 

He said "I am parting away and saying goodbye to the Pakistan Super League for my self-respect. I have
never played for money and will never do While many chose international leagues across the globe, I decided 
to grind in the domestic circuit to prove my love for the game, and to wear the Green flag again. I'm taking 
this decision keeps money out of it. I will not play PSL again with these six teams It seems like a shared
responsibility to keep me away from PSL, and all franchises have shaken hands 

Meanwhile, Imran Nazir has spoken in favor of Ahmad Shahzad in an interview on Television 
he said " I know' Ahmad Shahzad is a great player, not picking him in the PSL is not a good sign
for him. He should have been picked"
